Bellissimo Bergamo!

A mini fashion show featuring the latest holiday collection was staged by top men’s fashion brand Bergamo at the Conservatory of the Peninsula Manila recently. The show was held in celebration of the birthday of Bergamo’s visionary president and chief executive officer Mel Meer. The black-tie affair saw friends and guests having a ball as the splendid evening overflowed with champagne and exquisite offerings of canapés and regal entrees. The collection bared the best ensemble for the holidays and other formal occasions. A variety of local fabrics such as piña, abaca, jusi and fine Thai silks in structured cuts and modern lines bared Bergamo’s penchant for comfort and creativity.

Criselda Lontok, one of high society women’s favorite ready-to-wear designers, celebrated her birthday with an intimate fashion show held at the posh Gallerie of Rustan’s Makati. Featuring chic and vibrant-hued creations with bold floral prints and patterns, her holiday collection was perfectly complemented with elegant jewelry pieces from Keleo. Close friends, distinguished guests and socialites attended the fabulous affair, among them were former first lady Imelda Marcos, Imelda Ongsiako Cojuangco, Princess Ira Von Furstenberg, former Sen. Loi Ejercito, Ambassador Isabel Wilson and Keleo director Hans Chong.
