The amorous taste of Spain

Not even the recent bad weather could dampen the spirits of Manila’s A-listers who converged at the Baron’s Bar of the Tower Club, led by Amoroso managing director for international brands Von de Torres and product manager Ed Gador to get a taste of the newest craze in town — the sought-after Amoroso Brandy. This Solera Jerez brandy has luminous amber tones and fragrant aroma, fruity notes against a spicy backdrop. It has a smooth flavor which pervades and lingers in the palate with its vinous tones, turning it into something truly special.

Seen at the scene of revelry were architect Bong Recio, ChinaTrust vice chairman Bill Go, Richard Tiu, Robinson’s James Go, Muebles Italiano president and CEO Noel Gonzales, BMW’s Lia Guerrero, National Commission on the Role of Filipino Women chairperson Myrna Yao, brilliant lawyer Opap Villonco, Mayie Delgado among others. High society and Manila’s business and social elite are rapidly discovering the versatility and great taste of Amoroso, one of Spain’s premier brandies. The launching of Amoroso, made with all the love and tradition from Spain, was indeed a success with yours truly as Brand Embajador.

Salud!

All about exciting flavors

Cebuanos collectively cried out Viva España as the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu, the premier luxury destination in the Queen City of the South, recently celebrated Sabores De España showcasing the rich and exciting flavors of romantic Spain. Dapper GM Hans Hauri welcomed Amigos de España president Amparito Lhuillier, Consul Jaime Picornell and other distinguished guests to a thrilling festival of Spanish color, flavor and exotic performances by guitarist Adolfo Timuat and bailor de Flamenco Jessie Santos.

The Marco Polo Plaza really leads the way to great lifestyles!

‘Bejeweled heroines’

The Shangri-La Plaza Mall recently hosted Arritos, a jewelry exhibit with designs inspired by Philippine heroines and women trailblazers. National Artists Napoleon Abueva and Arturo Luz along with Wynn Wynn Ong and Ramon Orlina created elegant pieces such as bracelets, earrings and necklaces inspired by the likes of Gabriela Silang and Lea Salonga. A ceremonial ribbon-cutting formally opened the event led by Shangri-La Plaza EVP and GM Lala Fojas, Rep. Jose Carlos Lacson and Environment Secretary Lito Atienza. It was a truly dazzling event.

Cheers!
