Just recently, BMW Philippines president Andreas Biehler hosted a dinner at the Zuni Restaurant and Wine Bar in honor of visiting BMW Group executives — BMW SVP for importer markets Dr. Kay Segler and BMW Asia managing director Roland Kreuger. The exclusive event included notable guests from the business, industrial and diplomatic communities all over the metro who all enjoyed a sumptuous menu consisting of modernized Filipino dishes and premium US Angus steak. It was a truly spectacular, informative and most enjoyable affair.
When love blooms
The beautiful pair of businessman Anthony Kierulf and lovely Patricia Cojuangco recently walked the path to wedded bliss. What initially appeared to be a platonic relationship grew into an attraction that both Anthony and Patricia found inevitable, as they are at their happiest when they are together. Finally, the very handsome couple embraced married life when they were recently wed at the Santuario de San Antonio. Attending the ceremony were close friends and family including proud grandmother, multi-papal awardee Imelda Cojuangco. For the reception, guests proceeded to the Rizal Ballroom of the Makati Shangri-La Hotel where it was dressed in classic décor. A traditional dance and sumptuous Filipino and continental cuisines completed the joyous festivities that lasted well into the evening. Wishing you the best of married life, Anthony and Patricia!

Canada’s deep and rich culture infused the atmosphere as The Marco Polo Plaza Cebu, the premier luxury destination in the Queen City of the South, recently had a grand celebration of Canada’s Day at the hotel’s luxurious Lobby Lounge. Instead of the traditional ribbon-cutting, a ceremonial slicing of a slab of beef officially signaled the start of the exciting “Canadelicious” food festival at the Café Marco. Indefatigable Marco Polo Plaza Cebu president Rey Villar and GM Hans Hauri welcomed special guests including Canadian Ambassador Robert Desjardins, Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Francisco Benedicto and Cebu City Gov. Gwen Garcia.
