It was a night of beauty and elegance as a grand auction night was recently held at Subic through the sponsorship of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) with the help of Wildlife-In-Need (WIN) Foundation. Participated by the altruistic business community in Subic and the lovely candidates to the 39th Mutya ng Pilipinas National Pageant, the event championed an important cause: the protection and preservation of Philippine wildlife as well as the restoration of Our Lady of Ina Poon Bato, the revered and miraculous patron of Zambales.
The dazzling candidates were a sight to behold as they presented the items for auction. SBMA’s administrator Armand Arrez, deputy administrator for tourism Raul Marcelo, pageant operations head Nilo Agustin, pageant director Knette Fernando, MPI president Roberto De Venecia, treasurer Larry Amante and pageant director Ramona Ty made sure everyone was having fun while WIN’s VP for cultural affairs Emiliana Quinto and VP for zoological operations Wayne Philips helped with the auction. All of the proceeds of the enchanting night went to the foundation for their vision of preservation and reservation, which is truly a noble endeavor.
Congratulations!
