Feeling high
March 8, 2007 | 12:00am
Tagaytay Highlands recently marked the grand opening of another jewel at the SM Mall of Asia, the Highlands China Palace. Strategically located at the colossal mall’s bay side, the Highlands China Palace commands a magnificent view of Manila Bay. Now, members of this exclusive golf resort need not travel all the way to Tagaytay to satisfy their craving for authentic Chinese cuisine. The restaurant, which has more than 200 seats and four function rooms, is open to the public, too! With a beautiful view of Manila Bay and excellent Chinese cuisine, the restaurant is the perfect venue for celebrating special occasions.
At the grand opening, feng shui master Joseph Chau led the guests in a traditional Chinese blessing of the restaurant at exactly 11 a.m., which was an auspicious time.
Tagaytay Highlands founder Willy Ocier with other officers of Belle Corp.  chairman Benito Tan Guat, directors Washington Sycip, Roger Cabuñag, Thelmo Cunanan and Antonio Henson, corporate secretary lawyer Bayani K. Tan; and officers of Tagaytay Highlands  chairman Hans Sy, directors Vince Jayme and Joseph Chua, club president Jerry C. Tiu and GM Mabel B. Martinez, welcomed guests to the joyous affair, which also coincided with the birthday of one of China Palace’s investors, Pepet Jalandoni. The charity dinner was able to raise funds for the Pondo ng Pinoy foundation. Experience the cuisine of the Orient at the second floor of the south wing of SM Mall of Asia’s Entertainment Mall during mall hours. Highlands Golf, Midlands Golf and Country Club members may use their membership cards, too, just choose if you want the view of Taal Lake or the Manila Bay sunset!
See you there!
