Take heart!

The foundation with a big, big heart, the Foundation for Lay Education on Heart Diseases, Inc. (FLEHD) led by its founder and president Dr. Adolfo Bellosillo, continues its courageous fight against heart disease. FLEHD recently held its seventh Annual Convention on Preventive Cardiology at the RCBC Plaza with the theme Issues and Concerns in Preventive Cardiology in the Elderly, with keynote speaker Secretary of Foreign Affairs Dr. Alberto Romulo represented by his son, FLEHD legal counselor, Roman Romulo.

Highlighting the festivities were talks and special reports on geriatric cardiology by FLEHD’s expert heart doctors, awarding of plaques of appreciation to the foundation’s supporters, the launching of three new chapters in CAMANAVA, Quezon and Agusan del Norte, the fourth Oratorical Contest on Preventive Cardiology and musical performances by the Ligao City Choral Group, the Ligao City Children’s Choir and FLEHD members. FLEHD has truly gone a long way since its inception and it promises to do more! Congratulations to Dr. Bellosillo and all the big-hearted people of FLEHD!
