A grand night of sales distinction

Gokongwei-led firm Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC) did it again! RLC, one of the countrys biggest property developers, successfully celebrated its 2005 yearend sales and marketing campaign with a big bang. The bigwigs of the corporation were so happy with another sales record-breaking year, that they booked the trendy Royale Tagaytay Country Club for a hearty out-of-town party and sumptuous feast for RLCs entire sales force.
The highlight of the night was a speech made by the visionary Frederick Go, RLCs EVP and chief operations officer, who was all praises for the passionate contributions of his dedicated sales force. He was ably assisted by the equally hardworking Danilo Ignacio, RLC High-Rise Buildings GM. During the grand evening, the Annual Grand Sales Champions were saluted, highlighted by the awardees for Top Sales Director, Top Sales Manager and Top Account Managers. Also recognized and given honor were the members of the Millionaires Club men and women who had proven themselves time and time again.

Dusit Hotel Nikko, one of the most elegant and classy hotels in the metro, recently participated in the Chinese Food Festival at the Glorietta Mall in Makati. The hotels popular booth was flanked by VIPs, including no other than Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay, as they sampled the sumptuous fare especially prepared by the hotels Asian specialty restaurants. Hardworking Dusit GM Ikuo Itoi was ably assisted by director of sales and marketing Melotte Mondelo, F&B director Gilbert Uy and marketing communications manager Francis de Leon, in welcoming the visitors and guests. Toasts to good fortune
The social and business hub of southern Metro Manila, The Bellevue Hotel, spread luck and good fortune for its special friends with its Chinese New Year celebration. The Year of the Dog was welcomed through a bountiful Chinese themed buffet especially prepared by guest chef Jin Lai He from Guangzhou, China, forecasts from a guest astrologer and Chinese calligrapher Johannes Tan. Bellevue GM Patrick Chan dotted the eyes of the dragon in the dragon dance to drive away evil spirits and let the good fortune flow. It all happens here at the Bellevue!
Your columnist congratulates the Friends for Cultural Concerns of the Philippines, Inc. (FCCP) for recently inaugurating the FCCP Room, which it had donated to the National Arts Gallery of the National Museum on P. Burgos St., Manila. Cutting the ribbon were founding chairman Chito Madrigal-Collantes and FCCP president Amelia Romero Ablaza. During the event, dubbed "Alay at Pasasalamat," sponsors and donors to FCCPs numerous projects were given plaques of appreciation, followed by riveting performances from the Manila Symphony Orchestra and soprano Camille Lopez-Molina.
