The Bellevue Hotel, the premier business and leisure hotel south of Metro Manila, successfully inaugurated the hotel and its grand ballroom recently. Former President Fidel Ramos, Rep. Ruffy Biazon, Andrew Gotianun Sr., Mercedes Gotianun, Muntinlupas first lady Loreta Fresnedi and RPJ Devt. Corp. director Dunstan Chan were the guests-of-honor of the event. Also present were Josephine Gotianun-Yap, RPJ Devt. Corp. chairman Johnny Chan, Bellevue GM Patrick Chan and marketing and communications director Ryan Chan.
Guests composed of businessmen, top account clients and socialites were absolutely mesmerized upon entering the lavishly decorated grand ballroom with a theme representing the ancient Chineses five elements of good fortune: Wood, fire, earth, metal and water.
Appetizing cocktails remarkably prepared by Chef Hans Peter Eckstein were aptly designated on each station. The hotels outstanding architects Esteba and Gavino Tan and talented interior designer Arlen de Guzman were acknowledged by your columnist, who was the host for the evening.
