Celebrities galore in Boracay

Top TV and sports celebrities know where their home is in the island paradise Boracay the Boracay Regency Beach Resort, the first triple-A resort located along the white sand beach. The resort is known for its sumptuous food, luxurious accommodations and friendly service. The list of VIPs who recently stayed at the resort included top broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez, showbiz couple Ariel Rivera and Gelli de Belen, LJ Moreno, basketball player Jimmy Alapag, Rachel Alejandro, and the PBA all-star players.

>A whirlwind of events is happening at Dusit Hotel Nikko, one of the metros most elegant hotels. President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo recently graced the hotel as guest of honor for the launch of the UN Millennium Project Report organized by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). President Arroyo was warmly welcomed by the hotels general manager Ikuo Itoi. Also, the hotel joined Makati City in welcoming the Year of the Rooster. Makati first lady Dr. Elenita Binay was present with Ikuo Itoi and the hotels director of sales and marketing Melotte Mondelo. The event also highlighted a one-week promotion of the hotels wide range of mouth-watering cuisines. Finally, the hotel was the official residence of Chris Montes, John Ford Coley and Gordon Waller for their recent three-day concert in the country. Montes, Coley and Waller are known for the rendition of the songs, The More I See You, Sad To Belong and Til There Was You.

Flowing melodies wafted through the air as The Heritage Park, the countrys premier memorial service provider, treated the public to a free-outdoor concert entitled Heart and Soul, featuring multi-awarded composer and performer Jamie Rivera and energetic show band Sound Syndicate. Even hardworking Jack Kidwiler, chairman and president of Rosehills Memorial Management Philippines, Inc., who was ably assisted by tireless VP for operations Emir Tubayan and VP for sales and marketing Raquel Mendoza, was seen dancing to the beat. Everyone had an unforgettable and romantic evening as the music continued throughout the evening.

Effervescent and hardworking Sari Yap gave us a taste of the good life at its finest at the poolside of the Makati Shangri-La as Sari celebrated a spectacular birthday party recently. Under starry skies and the cool evening breeze, guests were treated to a Mediterranean feast of flavorful cuisines, champagne, chocolates, and live music from the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra. Well-known dignitaries and Manilas finest were entertained by the hilarious Mitch Valdes clever travel jokes.
