A union in full bloom
June 10, 2004 | 12:00am
A most charming wedding ceremony united sweethearts Fernando Gonzalez Araneta and Marta Tuason Luque at the Santuario de San Antonio Church. The couples proud parents, Carlos Araneta Rebullida and Connie Gonzalez Chacarrategui and Luis Luque Bidegain and Maria Martha Tuason Remedios, beamed as the lovely couple exchanged vows.
The grand reception was held at the palatial home of the Aranetas where a huge garden tent was set up for a most romantic garden setting. Fruits hanging from vines and flowers in full bloom conjured images of fairytales and enchanted lands. The driveway and entrance had the glitter and ambiance of the days of King Arthur, complete with banners heralding the coming together of the two prominent clans. The fabulous garden decor was created by Mabolo, while a gourmet spread was specially prepared by La Tasca for the extraordinary wedding. Enthralling music from Nonoy Lopez enlivened the crowd even more, and dancing went way past 4 a.m.
Attendees from Manilas business and social créme de la créme included principal sponsors Francisco Luque, Iking Araneta, Quito Moras, Carlos Tuason, Chiqui Gonzalez, Chuchay Tuason, Menchita Romulo, Marilou Gonzalez, Conchitina Ladao and Marisa Rocha, and many, many more.
The newlyweds had the look of lasting love in their sparkling eyes.
Have a great and happy life together, Fernando and Marta Cristina!
