If theres one thing you can say about Bulakeños, its that they enjoy the good things in life with the same passion they show when they work hard.
This was evident at Club Bulakeños recent Crystal Anniversary Ball at the sprawling Grand Ballroom of the Westin Philippine Plaza.
The event gathered not only Bulakeños in the business, private and government sectors but also prominent Bulakeños based abroad.
The strictly-by-invitation-affair brought to mind the inaugural banquet tendered by then President Emilio Aguinaldo during the Malolos Republic. It was a night of paying homage to a grand past.
All guests were dressed to the nines, complete with headdress, accessories and jewelry.
In this annual event, most of the ladies were resplendent in Spanish-inspired numbers, while the gentlemen were debonair in their crisp barongs.
Lets see how they looked.
