PRAGUE, Czech Republic— Zoo keepers feed gorillas and polar bears at Prague zoo ice lollies to help them combat record temperatures during the heat wave sweeping across Europe.

"We take a bucket, either 12 or 15 litres, we chop about two kilos mostly of fruit but we also add vegetables, then we take a two-metre rope with a knot at the end, we put that on the bottom of the bucket, add the fruit, pour water over it, put it in a freezer and the next day we have ice-cream,"  Vit Lukas, primates curator said.
