WATCH: CCTV footage shows Clark airport passengers panicking during strong quake
MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Transportation on Wednesday released CCTV camera footage showing the scenes inside the Clark International Airport last Monday when the magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck Pampanga and some parts of Luzon.
The video showed strong ground shaking as well as passengers and employees panicking during the powerful quake.
The CIA’s ceiling at the terminal check-in lobby collapsed after the quake, prompting a temporary closure of the airport.
The airport resumed full operations less than 48 hours after repairs and a test run was conducted.
The airport operations resumed on Wednesday afternoon with all flights scheduled departed as planned.
