MANILA, Philippines (Updated 6:16 p.m.) — Water, earlier identified as dust and materials, falls from a building in Bonifacio Global City as a magnitude 5.7 earthquake jolted Metro Manila and nearby provinces on Monday afternoon.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said that the epicenter of the quake was located in Castillejos, Zambales at around 5:11 p.m.
Tenants and residents evacuated buildings in BGC after the earthquake and gathered in open fields in the business district.
