WATCH: India prepares for Holi festival

FULBARI, India — Villagers in northeastern India prepare colored powders ahead of Holi, the Hindu spring festival of color.

The colored powder, known as "gulal," will be used during the forthcoming spring festival of Holi.

Holi is observed in India at the end of the winter season on the last full moon of the lunar month, and this year will take place on March 21.
