WATCH: Ressa posts bail for the 6th time

MANILA, Philippines — Rappler CEO and executive editor Maria Ressa on Thursday went to the Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 46 to post bail on a cyberlibel case against her.

The Manila court said Ressa’s bail was set at P100,000.

Ressa said it's her sixth time to post bail in two months.

Rappler executive Beth Frondoso said the veteran journalist posted bail on Thursday afternoon. Her release order was issued after.

She was detained at the NBI headquarters Wednesday night as the warrant was served at 5 p.m. when court offices were already closed.
