MANILA, Philippines — Who motivates two Korean pop stars Dara and Nam Joo Hyuk? Fans wanted to know.
During the fancon hosted by Penshoppe on Sunday, fans got to know better the clothing brand’s endorsers Dara and Joo Hyuk who had a chit-chat with hosts. The two were asked on who motivates them as artists.
For Dara, her members from the now-defunct group 2NE1 are her biggest motivation. She said that CL, Bom and Minzy have been with her since she was training to be a part of the girl group, and the girls taught her to be “swag.”
Dara debuted with the group, under Korean agency YG Entertainment, in 2009. 2NE1 rose to global popularity with their songs “Fire” and “I Don’t Care.” The group disbanded in 2016.
For the model-actor, Joo Hyuk: His fans are his biggest motivation.
“Everyone here,” he said in Korean, which drew screams from the audience.
