The parents of 17-year-old Kian delos Santos, who was killed in a police operation in Caloocan City, met with President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday despite his brutal war that has killled the boy and thousands of others.

Lorenza and Saldy delos Santos, who were supporters of the president, paid a courtesy call on Duterte at Malacañan Palace, days after they chose to have chief public attorney Persida Acosta as their counsel in cases filed against cops behind Kain's death.
