MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte on early Friday lashed out at international blocs anew, calling them hypocritical for neglecting immigrants while comparing him with German dictator Adolf Hitler.
While lamenting the tag as "Hitler's cousin," Duterte said that while Hitler killed "three million Jews" he is willing to purge the country of "three million" drug addicts.
"Look, kayong US, EU, you can call me anything but I was never into or I am never into hypocrisy like you," Duterte said.

In his address upon returning from his official visit to Vietnam, Duterte shrugged off the deaths of drug suspects while addressing criticisms of the international community.
While Duterte cited three million "addicts," no officially released data backs up the figure. Official estimates by the Dangerous Drugs Board show only 1.76 million drug users. The number, moreover, lumps occasional users, addicts and dependents.
