MANILA, Philippines — Preventing extrajudicial killings goes beyond politics and is a moral issue, according to Vice President Jejomar Binay.
He said that political rival and survey front runner Davao Mayor Rodrigo Duterte's hints at and has reputation for extrajudicial killings. "[It] gives us a disturbing look at a possible hint of state-sponsored violence against the poor, summary execution, total disregard of the law and [the] use of intimidation against critics," Binay said.
Watch Binay talk about why he opposes extrajudicial killings and why he believes others should, too.
