MANILA, Philippines — Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo talked about her past experiences in non-government organization and how it could help boost her vice presidential bid in the May 9 elections.

The vice presidential candidate once worked as a lawyer for the Sentro Alternatibing Lingap Pang Legal (Saligan) before entering public office.

In an interview, Robredo said that her organization's advocacy is empowerment through legal education.

— Text by Patricia Lourdes Viray
