MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. formalized his candidacy for vice president in 2016 on Tuesday in submitting his documents to the Commission on Elections.

Marcos, who was accompanied by his mother, Ilocos Norte Rep. Imelda Marcos, greeted the crowd of media men and said he will go around the country to campaign for a higher post.
