MANILA, Philippines –  How about a Korean movie infused with a Filipino music for its trailer?

‘Anak’  by Freddie Aguilar is featured oi the trailer of Lee Min Ho’s upcoming movie.

The song released in the 1970s became an ultimate hit. It has been sold worldwide in 56 countries and has been translated into 27 different foreign languages.

Despite the numerous translations available, the trailer featured the Filipino version of the song.

Lee Min Ho’s movie is titled "Gangnam Blues," a film set in the 70s era, which shows the struggle between political powers and criminals during the development of Seoul’s Gangnam District.

Meanwhile, despite the song’s popularity, this is the first time the song is used for an international film.
