MANILA, Philippines - GMA-7 journalist Kara David believes she does not need to be a politician to help people.
The topic of journalist shifting into the field of politics came up in an interview with Philstar.com at the PeopleAsia's 2014 Women of Style and Substance event, wherein she admits looking up to fellow GMA-7 broadcaster Mel Tiangco.
Is she, like Tiangco, against the idea of running for public office?
In an past interview, Tiangco said she won't run for public office because "I do public service. I don’t need to have a position to do it."
"Palagay ko, mas marami akong matutulungan kung wala ako sa pulitika," David said.
