Video of the Day: This pomeranian's skill will put your dogs into shame
MANILA, Philippines - Jiff the Pomeranian seizes two spots on Guinness World Records for being recognized as the fastest dog to run on front paws and on hind legs.
Putting the other dogs into shame, Jiff can run 32 feet (10 meters) on his hind legs in 6.56 seconds and 16 feet (5 meters) on his front paws in 7.76 seconds. To set the record, he should accomplish both distances under 10 seconds, which he did as easy as fetching a bone.
"He certainly deserves his place in the new Guinness World Records book, which is particularly special this year because it marks our 60th anniversary," Guinness World Records Editor-in-Chief, Craig Glenday said.
According to Jiff's owner, who refused to be named, Jiff practices running on his front and hind legs daily to achieve his skill. Aside from that, he also bows, shakes hands and skateboards.

Jiff has become an Internet sensation even before being recognized by Guinness. He has his own Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube account. He has even starred in a Katy Perry music video.

Guinness will sell a book that will enable the reader to bring record-breakers to life in 3D. Jiff was the first record setter to be revealed for the book which will be made available on September 11 for £20.
