Deputy Administrator Romero Fajardo of the Office of Civil Defense on Thursday said that the public and the government should always be prepared for earthquakes. Fajardo made the statement during the press conference at the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Mangement Council's briefing, where the agency reported that the death toll from the powerful quake last Tuesday has jumped to 161 with 21 more missing in Bohol province.
