Defense lawyer: Doctor was 'ill-equipped' when he autopsied massacre victims

MANILA, Philippines – The medico-legal officer who carried out autopsy on 12 of the 57 victims in the Maguindanao massacre was ill-equipped, a defense lawyer hinted.
During the cross examination at the trial today, Dr. Dean Cabrera, a medico-legal officer based in Camp Crame, admitted that he conducted the autopsy examinations without some of the regular equipment used for the procedure.
