Landbank issues clarification

This refers to the article “Filinvest taps Landbank to fund water, hotel projects” written by Ms. Louise Maureen Simeon and published in print and online by The Philippine STAR on March 18, 2023.

We wish to clarify that the Filinvest Group of Companies (FGC), not the Filinvest Development Corporation (FDC) as stated in the article, met with Landbank officials to explore various collaboration projects.

We also wish to clarify that while the meeting was productive for both parties, an official agreement has yet to materialize, which makes the use of “taps” and “tapping” in the article as misleading.
