News item clarified
This refers to the article in the Philippine STAR, 5 September 2014, page 8: Sandigan won’t move Bong to regular jail, subheading: Hospital detention for JPE.
The last two paragraphs read:
“PGH director Jose Gonzales said Enrile has multiple health ailments and it would be best to transfer the senator to PGH.
“But PGH doctors said they do not recommend Enrile to be confined at their hospital since it does not have enough equipment and has too many patients to attend to being a secondary hospital.”
The statements may have been made by the PNPGH Director considering the second paragraph negates the first paragraph if it were indeed the PGH Director who said this.
PGH is a tertiary hospital so the hospital being referred to in the last paragraph may be PNPGH.
Please be clarified on the matter.—JOSE GONZALES, PGH Director
