Be patient
I am a Balikbayan. I flew in last April 19 to be with family and friends here in the Philippines.
I am aware that NAIA is one of the worst airports in the world. In my visit this time, I noticed the construction being done all over, thus, inconvenience will occur, naturally.
I think the apology of P-Noy regarding the problems of the air-conditioning system, that it is necessary to shut off some units to prevent dust and particles from being sucked into the air-conditioning system, is enough explanation for the hot condition.
The trolleys or pushcarts are all new. Whereas in the past, the pushcarts were dilapidated.
Now, the comfort rooms are very presentable and clean. While in some countries tourists are charged 25 cents for the use of the restroom and additional 25 cents for toilet paper. In NAIA, the use of the CR and toilet paper are free. The toilet paper and hand towels in some cases are being handed by courteous and well-mannered staff.
The tourists are still coming. They still enjoy the fun in our country.
So, let’s be patient — wait and see. After all — patience is a virtue. — POI Buenaventura, San Jose, California, USA
