Thoughts to guide us by

- Elvie Punzalan-Estavillo - The Philippine Star

Many people experience grave difficulty in shutting the doors behind them at day’s end. A myriad of things unceasingly swirls and turns in their minds, hurled by the ever-increasingly-demanding-and-complicated world we live in.

Thus, finding the best way to end the hectic and long day we had as relaxingly and peacefully as possible has become a continuous and challenging quest. Capping the day with exercise, spiced with loads of laughter are great tools to de-stress. Learn not to carry the day into the night. As we sleep and rest our bodies — our minds must be laid to rest, too.

Run over your mind how you cruised the day, and no matter how you fared — happy or sad, successful or not — thank God for the people and situations you dealt with. Mentally make a tick of blessings received, focusing on what you have — not on what you do not have. Affirm that God lovingly and compassionately looks after you and your family. Let go of the worldly concerns bothering you and let God take over. Tomorrow is a new fresh day, ushering in better opportunities.

Peace and abundance to us all!!
