MANILA, Philippines - Kindly allow us to make a clarification regarding the news item that appeared in The Philippine STAR last June 13 (Monday) about the claim of Mr. Benjamin Bitanga of MRC Allied on their plans to put up a casino project in Cebu.
It is not true that the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) is currently in talks with MRC Allied Industries, Inc. for an integrated entertainment resort complex in their estate in Naga City, Cebu. PAGCOR has not received any formal offer from MRC Allied for any business venture.
