A different FPJPM

MANILA, Philippines - We are making statements on the current status of FPJPM which formerly stands for Fernando Poe Jr. for President Movement. But due to the untimely demise of Mr. Fernando Poe Jr., it has been dissolved and it now stands for FILIPINOS FOR PEACE, JUSTICE AND PROGRESS MOVEMENT.

These statements were issued to clarify a news item which was published in your papers dated Feb. 2, 2010, first section, page 5 written by Jose Rodel Clapano re: “FPJ supporters endorse Estrada, Binay”. In this news item, the FPJ for President Movement was mistakenly abbreviated as FPJPM. Roger Federezo is the vice president of FPJPM and not Bingboy Valera as written in the said news item. This matter is being clarified so as not to confuse media and the people about the undertakings that we will announce later on. Please be reminded that there are people who put up similar organizations and groupings trying to look like our FPJPM but whose interests are very different from ours.
