MANILA, Philippines — A total of 1,694 public and private senior high schools nationwide have been randomly selected by the Department of Education (DepEd) to administer the National Achievement Test (NAT-12) for Grade 12 students.
DepEd said the NAT-12, which will be administered for the first time this year, aims to determine if the students are meeting the learning standards of the K-12 curriculum.
It also seeks to help provide information on how to improve instructional practices and assess the effectiveness of the education service delivery using learning outcomes as indicators.
