Australia’s ICHM study abroad program opens

The International College of Hotel Management (ICHM), the first and currently the only Swiss Hotel Association (SHA) Hotel Management School outside of Europe, opens its doors to qualified applicants.

ICHM believes that nothing beats experience and that is the philosophy that drives the Study Abroad program. The program gives its qualified applicants the opportunity to study in Australia and obtain real industry experience. It is the avenue for developing new skills and exposing oneself to different work systems and methodologies.

The program runs in Adelaide for six months with the option to undertake a paid work placement for another six months after at no extra cost to the student.  The course is composed of at least 4 subjects. The courses to be included would be dependent on the student’s area of interest or background.

Students are also given the option to stay on campus during the semester. The ICHM on-campus accommodation is comprised of villa-style apartments and includes 3 meals a day, computer and Internet access. However, if the student is on a tighter budget, they can opt to live in off-campus as an option.

To study at ICHM, students will need the basic qualification of an IELTS score of 6.0 English (or equivalent).  At the end of the program, each student will be awarded a certificate of completion and a transcript.
