DOST scholarship application

MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Science and Technology-Science Education Institute’s (DOST-SEI) said that applications for graduating high school students wanting to take the  Undergraduate Scholarships Examination to qualify for S&T college scholarships has until tomorrow, Aug. 22, or this Friday, to submit their application.

The nationwide examination shall be held on Sept. 21,with results to be announced in March 2015.

Scholars who will qualify for and get awarded the DOST-SEI scholarship are required to take “priority” S&T courses including those in the fields of  agriculture, agricultural biotechnology, biochemistry, computer science, environmental science, fisheries, food technology, forestry, geology, information technology, science/mathematics teaching, statistics, and engineering courses.
