MANILA, Philippines - The National Basic Education Commission (NBEC) of the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) will hold a K to 12 Summit on Jan. 28-29 at the De La Salle University (DLSU), Taft Avenue, Manila.
The two-day event will focus on two critical areas of concern for basic education schools, the senior high school and Republic Act 10627 or the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013.
Key officials of the Department of Education (DepEd) are invited as speakers including Education SecretaryArmin Luistro FSC; Undersecretary for Programs and Projects Dina Ocampo; Undersecretary for Finance and Administration Francisco Valera; and Undersecretary for Legal Affairs Alberto Muyot,. CEAP legal counsel Joseph Noel Estrada will also discuss the implementation of the Anti-Bullying Policy in Private Schools.
To accommodate CEAP member schools in the Visayas and Mindanao regions, the K to 12 Summit will take place on Feb. 12-13 at the Waterfront Hotel, Cebu City and Feb. 17-18 at the Ateneo de Davao University, Davao City, respectively.
