Financial literacy

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) recently launched a book entitled, USAPANG PERA: MGA DAPAT ALAMIN (A PDIC Guidebook on Basic Banking and Financial Transactions) to further strengthen our public awareness campaign for safe and responsible banking. The book, which is intended to strengthen financial literacy among Filipinos, discusses a range of topics that includes basic concepts on money, importance of savings, responsible banking, different financial products, guide to prudent investing, as well as the importance of deposit insurance. It is available for free and can be downloaded at www.pdic.gov.ph/files/book/usapang-pera-new.pdf.
