MANILA, Philippines - On  Nov. 8 Ateneo de Manila president Fr. Jose Ramon Villarin and director and president of Le Cordon Bleu International B.V., André Cointreau, signed an agreement to establish the Ateneo – Le Cordon Bleu Institute. This agreement heralds a new partnership that will offer students the opportunity for a premium education in hotel and restaurant entrepreneurship studies, in response to a strong national demand from the country’s burgeoning tourism industry amidst promising economic development.

With over 100 years of teaching experience, Le Cordon Bleu offers courses in gastronomy, hospitality, and tourism from initiation to MBA level. Today, Le Cordon Bleu is present in more than 20 countries with 53 schools, and is attended by 20,000 students of 70 nationalities every year.

The Ateneo – Le Cordon Bleu Institute will deliver a broad range of Le Cordon Bleu educational programs in hospitality management in both the Loyola Heights and Rockwell campuses of the Ateneo de Manila University.
