Insular donates school supplies

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Insular Foundation donated 1,000 sets of school supplies and bags to the Department of Education (DepEd). These were donated to three schools in Bataan, one of the provinces hardest hit by the southwest monsoon rains brought about by Typhoon Maring. Each set of school supplies consists of notebooks, pad paper, pencils, ballpens, crayons, ruler, scissors, pencil sharpener, glue, and long envelope. The donated school supplies were brought to Bataan through the Alagang Kapatid Foundation of TV-5. Photo shows Department of Education’s Adopt-A-School Program Operations Manager Merlie Asprer receiving the donation from Insular Life president and COO Mayo Jose Ongsingco. With them are (from left) executive vice president and sales and marketing group head Jesus Alfonso Hofileña, executive vice president and administrative operations group head Mona Lisa de la Cruz, and senior assistant vice president and public relations head, and Insular Foundation administrator Ana Maria Soriano.
