The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - With over 58 technologies and inventions from its Colleges of Engineering, Science, Computer Studies, Business, and Education, DLSU recently held its biggest integrated innovation and technology fair at the Henry Sy Sr. Hall.

The fair centered on the theme “Ideas and Solutions for Nation Building”  to highlight sustainable ideas and global solutions by faculty, students, and University staff. These research projects, some of which received national and international awards, sought to create  innovative products and services.

The technologies and inventions presented in the fair reflected five industrial zones that are considered critical and boom areas of the future: Energy and Environment, Food, Health, Learning Innovation, and Software Technology.

Other activity highlights were dialogues and other interactive sessions on technology innovation, intellectual property protection, and technology commercialization. The University recognized the best exhibits, videos, and business plans featured in the event.
