BDO Foundation builds school in General Santos

-

MANILA, Philippines - BDO Foundation turned over a new one-story four-classroom schoolbuilding to Banisil National High School in Barangay Tambler, General Santos City.

The school building built in partnership with SM Prime Holdings through SM Foundation under the aegis of the Department of Education’s “Adopt-a School” Program addresses shortages in public school buildings. Funds from this project were generated from the “Share Gift Check Project,” a donation gift check product available in all BDO branches nationwide which interested donors can purchase. Recipient of this gift check can choose any three advocacies sponsored by BDOF: shelter, healthcare and education.

BDO Foundation’s member of the board of trustees and BDO Unibank adviser to the board of directors Jesus Tirona and BDO Foundation president and member of the board of trustees Maureen Abelardo together with SMFI Linda Atayde present during the turnover ceremonies. Mayor Darlene Antonino- Custodio of General Santos City was guest of honor.
