SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, Philippines – Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo and Pampanga Governor Lilia Pineda on Thursday led the launching of the E-Library Hub Program in this province.
The program incorporates 35 sets of Department of Education (DepEd) evaluated multimedia packages, which are useful to students and academicians for their school activities.
E-Library Hub Program is composed of computerized librarian module, computerized encoders module and on-line public access catalog structure.
It aims to assist students on the latest developments in information technology and help them improve their learning performance. Accordingly, with the use of the modern technology, students can now access all kinds of information necessary for their schooling.
The information and data obtained in the internet using the E-Library Hub Program are claimed to be correct and up to date, according to the officials of the provincial library.
The program also provides teachers with powerful tools to diagnose, track and report on student knowledge and progress.
Other provincial officials who joined in the launching of the E-Library Hub Program were Vice Governor Joseller Guiao, Board Members Monina Laus, Trina Dizon, Ricardo Yabut, Nestor Tolentino, Cris Gardo, Salvador Dimson Jr, and some local chief executives.
