MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), in partnership with the Manila Business College, will provide scholarships to poor but deserving students.
Under the memorandum of agreement recently signed by DSWD and MBC officials, MBC will offer its “Unlimited Scholarship Program” to all DSWD program beneficiaries.
Applicants must have a high school general point average (GPA) of 82.5 percent and above to qualify in the scholarship examination, the DSWD said.
“The college scholarship offered by the MBC is good for one school year and may be renewed subject to maintaining the required general point average,” the agency said in a statement.

Established in 2000 in Sta. Cruz, Manila, MBC is duly accredited by the Commission on Higher Education and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
