Workshop for teachers, teacher educators

MANILA, Philippines - The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for Education in Science and Mathematics (SEAMEO RECSAM) is organizing a workshop for teachers and teacher educators entitled “Talking Science/Mathematics, Thinking Science/Mathematics: Making Teaching and Learning More Dialogic. The workshop, organized by SEAMEO RECSAM’s Training Program Division, will be held at SEAMEO Hall, SEAMEO RECSAM, Penang, Malaysia, 8 a.m. -4:30 p.m. on March 14-15, 2011. The facilitator, Stuart Naylor, has 13 years high school teaching experience in UK and US and 20 years at Teacher Education Department, Manchester Metropolitan University as a lecturer, researcher and program manager.
