Book on Christian leadership off the press

MANILA, Philippines - Melchor S. Morales, a management consultant and lay leader of the United Church of Christ in the Philippines, will launch his first book entitled The Dynamics of Christian Leadership with its sub-title Fishing for Men: A Layman’s Ministry, in Manila, Dumaguete City and Davao City on Jan. 15, 20 and 22, respectively.

The book is a collection of sermons and speeches delivered in a span of over four decades in various churches, schools and public audiences. The materials are divided into six parts according to different themes, namely: The Dynamics of Christian Leadership,” “The Call to the Lay Ministry,” “The Task of Christian Education in Schools,” “The Call to Christian Service,” “The Call for Christian Involvement in Society,” and “The Challenge to Christian Living.”

The foreword was written by Dr. Jovito Salonga, edited by STAR columnist Domini Torrevillas and printed by VJ Graphic Arts, Inc.
