Are you aspiring to become a flight attendant?
MANILA, Philippines - Undergraduates with good communication skills, at least 5’3” in height, and with good complexion may aspire to become future flight attendants, according to Alma Canlas Cabagay, training director of the Golden Success Flight Training Center. She says that with proper training and skills management, young men and women may consider a career in the aviation industry and enjoy good compensation. One successful graduate is Welvina Candelaria Montoya who recently left for Royal Brunei Airlines to train as a flight attendant. The other graduates are Jessel Tuazon, Cathy Rose Guidito, Ruth Rodriguez and Irish Jade Jimenez. Capt. Steve Snelson, director of flight operations of Freedom Worldwide Airways and former Delta Airlines captain, and Jeff Buenviaje, dean of La Salle’s College of International Hospitality Management, were the special guests at the recently concluded graduation of Golden Success flight attendants. Cabagay, a former international flight attendant of Philippine Airlines, says that Golden Success offers courses on FA training inclusive of the following: personality development, aircraft familiarization, emergency procedures, customer and meal service and BLS/CPR survival swimming.
