MANILA, Philippines - Former Lingayen-dagupan Archbishop Cruz, who is turning 76 on Nov. 17, says that he intends to go back to school; to take up PhD on organization and development at UST.
As if not his anti-gambling advocacy and heading the National Appellate Matrimonial Tribunal (NAMT) are not enough to keep him busy, Cruz said he is looking for new challenges in his life and is therefore contemplating on going back to school.
He is currently painting the four human races black, white, yellow and brown while also working on a new book. He has so far written more than 30 books.
The emeritus Pangasinan Archbishop is already thinking of a possible thesis topic, Socialized Administration of Ecclesiastical Moves and Ethics.
When asked why he’s returning to school, Cruz said that, “I like to be challenged. I don’t want to be stationary, nothing happens. That is a good challenge, I guess.”
