Rizal public schools benefit from SM's Donate-A-Book

MANILA, Philippines - SM Foundation’s Donate-A-Book distribution activity at SM Taytay where 158 public schools in Rizal received books manifests the Foundation’s continuing commitment to assist in addressing the shortage of textbooks in public schools. Beneficiaries of the books were public elementary and high schools in Taytay, Cainta, Antipolo, Angono and Binangonan.

Assorted books and reading materials numbering 23,700 were received by the respective school representatives. The Knights of Rizal-Taytay Chapter, one of the project partners and the Rosario Ocampo Alumni Association Batch ’59-’60, assisted in coordinating with the Department of Education represented by Dr. Marites Ibañez.
