Science Center hands-on training for teachers

MANILA, Philippines - Recognizing the “teacher-factor” in molding the future leaders of our country and believing that teachers must be great motivators to stimulate their students to learn and to love to learn more, the Philippine Foundation for Science and Technology (PFST) once again offers a three-day teacher training cum workshop to high school science teachers. Dubbed as Science Teachers Summer Camp (STSC), this training cum workshop introduces effective and exciting strategies in teaching science and utilizing the Philippine Science Centrum as concrete teaching aids to excite and keep students more interested in science. A learning investment fee of P3,900 inclusive of training kit and meals (lunch and snacks) will be charged for the 3-day workshop which is scheduled on May 20-22, 2010 at the Philippine Science Centrum in Riverbanks, Marikina City.
